The Intelligence Architecture Map is based on interviews with cyber security analysts, former intelligence practitioners now doing CTI, and intelligence analysis experts and authors, and my personal views. It represents a logical and meaningful way of how I see the different aspects of producing intelligence should be put together.
The mind map is not based on any standard or specific framework, but as you will see it resembles quite strongly the Intelligence Cycle, which has probably been used in NATO since 1981 (NATO AAP-06, Version 2019). The purpose of the map is to drive a high-level conversation with board members, C-level, internal and external stakeholders, managers, CTI analysts, etc. Hopefully, it can also act as a model or point of reference for those who run CTI teams today or those who want to build their own operation or for those who are studying cyber threat intelligence.
