There’s no such thing as a “Hack” for Mental Health: Managing LIfe as a Neurodivergent Person

Life brings with it a lot of challenges. Some of these may be self-inflicted (we’ve all shot ourselves in the foot at least once). In many cases, these challenges are based on circumstances/events, access to opportunity, and genetics.
Often, these challenges either are or manifest in mental health – which is a difficult topic on a good day. Things become even more difficult when we find ourselves in professional environments that are not designed by default to be flexible or understanding; leading to conflict, loss of productivity, and more.
I’m going to share my own journey – and hopefully level set a reality that it’s ok to struggle. I’d like folks to come away from this talk with knowledge and strategies that may help them support others and themselves.
